Mort was the founder of the practice in 1986, having previously trained and worked as an assistant in the commercial department of one of the largest commercial firms in Ireland.

Mort retired as a partner of Adams in 1999 before moving to the Principality of Andorra from where he provides specialised planning and structuring services to high net worth individuals and families.
